Learning Days for Kids in the Garden

Bring your kids and a hands-on interest in nature as we explore native plants, life cycles, beneficial insects and more, every Sunday at 1 pm for the Learning Days for Kids in the Learning Garden.

Yerba Buena Gardens offers free Learning Days designed to foster the green thumb in every child. These interactive and hands-on experiences focus on educating children about essential concepts including:
- Seasonal life cycle of a garden
- Sustainability
- Environmentally friendly practices
- And more
Our Garden Guides involve children in gardening, crafts, music and story hour, tours of the Garden, and holiday-themed activities.
All of these family-friendly events are FREE and take place in the Learning Garden right next to the Tot Lot and behind the Play Circle.
