Come join us at Yerba Buena Gardens on January 21, 2019 for a celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday with a day of special programming to honor the Civil Rights leader.
A day of memory and respect
The San Francisco Interfaith Council will provide activities including the annual interfaith tribute to the Selma-to-Montgomery march and symbolic crossing of the Edmund Pettis Bridge.
The tribute will take place during the annual March/Parade, ending at Yerba Buena Gardens, where the Annual Interfaith Commemoration Ceremony will commence. Spiritual leaders from a host of faith traditions will offer prayers remembering both the vision and sacrifice of Dr. King.
